Cluster Development Project :

The institute has started work in ten industrial clusters in Gajapati and the KBK region, diagnostic studies have commenced to map out value chains and make a detailed SWOT analysis of these clusters. The information collected through the diagnostic studies will be used to draft &submit a detailed project report to the Ministry of MSME (Government of India). This will be the first step to designate CSREM as an anchor institute for cluster development in one of the most backward regions of the country.

Mission Shakti Projects :

Mission Shakti (Department of Women & Child Development, Government of Orissa) has appointed CSREM as the state partner for a capacity building programme of SHGs, promoted under its aegis. Activities for achieving the same have already commenced in Ganjam district.
